      Prince William and his bride Catherine will head to Hancock Park on their first day in Los Angles this week.  No one knows for sure the exact house they are staying in, but the royal couple announced as part of the official itinerary that they will be visiting the U.K. Consul-General’s house in Hancock Park for a reception.  As a long-time resident of Los Angeles, I can tell you this is one of the most beautiful, and expensive, areas of town.

I object!

Prince William and his bride Catherine (formerly known as Kate) are coming to my town from the 8th to the 10th of July. Well, not exactly. When they said they were coming to California, we Angelinos naturally assumed they were on their way to our beloved L.A.  

Unfortunately, it turns out the Royal itinerary has little to do with Los Angeles.

Which raises the question, how can anyone come to our amazing town in the dead of summer, as the young royal couple will do, and miss every single thing we love about our city?
