Who Is Harvey Weinstein, and Why Was Everybody Thanking Him at the Golden Globes?

No less than Meryl Streep and Madonna paid tribute to Harvey Weinstein at the Golden Globes this year.

Michelle Williams called him the “punisher,” Madonna scolded him for forcing her to write an award-winning song, and Meryl Streep said “Thank god, Harvey Weinstein” as she accepted her Best Actress award.
